Upcoming Conferences and Events
The upcoming Fall 2025 Conference will be held Oct. 3-4 at Gogebic Community College in Ironwood, MI in the beautiful Upper Peninsula. While it’s a trek to the far western edge of the UP, it’s worth it! Ironwood is in the Central Time Zone, so you’ll gain an hour driving in. For those flying, there are direct flights from Chicago to our local airport, or to Escanaba and Marquette from Detroit. Ferries across Lake Michigan are another fun option!
Join MCCB for an amazing opportunity - a week-long professional development in Costa Rica! This course will be based around visits to two unique education and research-based facilities, Tirimbina Reserve and Pacuare Reserve on the Caribbean Coast. Both of these locations will include meals, programming, all activities and lodging in rustic, shared accommodations.

St. Clair County Community College will host the Fall 2026 MCCB meeting on our main campus in Port Huron October 9-10. Situated between the Black River and the St. Clair River, we have access to boating, kayaking, rain gardens, and a riverwalk. You can visit the Nasr Natural Science Museum, climb the 188 steps of the SC4 tower for a gorgeous view of the Blue Water Bridge and Lake Huron, and see Michigan's only Challenger Learning Center while enjoying interesting sessions and networking with wonderful colleagues.
